fotofah 4
Sometimes I get the error "too many resources" when trying to clip a web page with Web Cliipper. (I'm using Evernote for Mac, v10.65.3 on a Mac running v14.1.1.) This happens with Safari or Chrome (both latest versions). How can I still clip the page? (My workaround has been to use Safari, send the page to Apple Mail and email it to my Evernote.) Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,170 Posted November 11, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted November 11, 2023 Every modern website is build from a large number of sources, stored in databases and pulled together by the CMS content management system. It may be that a website draws too many resources, or even creates a loop in calling the database. This can lead to an error on clipping. No much help beyond reloading the page, and trying again. Or use the „print to pdf“ function if a static representation of the website is enough. Link to comment
fotofah 4
Thanks for your reply. I've found that immediately reloading the web pages rarely solves this error, but if I leave page and come back to it later, I can often clip it without the error. Link to comment
