TurtleHurler 0 Posted October 10, 2023 Share Posted October 10, 2023 I had set up two factor a while back with sms via my mobile but now Evernote is forcing me to switch to an Authenticator. BUT to do this it forces me to go to my account which wants the SMS code (the last four digits look correct) which I can't get!!! I have an account full of info and Evenote has failed to deliver a secure system to allow me control of my data. The only option is to screen shot all the info and then delete Evernote from my life. I also write tech blogs so feel the need to tell the world about the risks of using Evernote for any data you need to keep. I suspect if they cannot resolve this (I have tried for weeks to get an answer from support who have said they will pass it to someone who can help but haven't) then their systems are probably at best insecure and at worst very hackable as the two factor seems broken. If any one has any suggestions before I write my blogs it would be appreciated. Link to comment
