Creating a new note is very slow.

Not sure what's happening with evernote.  Perhaps it's my instance.  When I try to create a note locally (Windows 11 PC) it takes almost 10 seconds to create a new note.  It should be one or two seconds.

Is there a way to resolve this or is this an issue with the application that needs to be addressed?

I have over 15,000 notes in Evernote but I wouldn't think that creating a new blank note should take long.

@michaeldsb please update to 10.61 and tell me here if you're still experiencing this. The update should solve this issue completely.

How do you I get 10.61?  When I check updates, it doesn't provide the option.  I'm currently on 10.60.4
