Adding tasks results in evernote crashing

When I add tasks via evernote home --> Tasks --> New Task. The screen pops up. I add text for the new task and when I create task, it gives me a new screen with a green rotating circle and sends me back to the Tasks page. But NO NEW TASK GETS CREATED.

 

Evernote is getting really really buggy. What is going on?

By chance are you using version 10.59.5?  I saw something similar, in addition to other issues, and rolled back to 10.58.8.

I'm getting something similar. I've entered a few tasks and they are disappearing from the note and from the task list. I'm on a Windows 10 laptop and Evernote 10.58.8

You may want to avoid 10.59.5 then.  I have far fewer problems on 10.58.8.  I think tasks do work a little better on 10.59.5 but it introduced other errors that gave me bigger problems so I’m staying on 10.58.8 for now.
