Making a notebook offline in ios EN

Strange glitch in the process of making a notebook available offline on my new ipad.  Initially the process went smoothly for the first 4 notebooks ie: select the notebook, toggle the offline option and wait for all the notes to be downloaded locally.  In each case I could see a little green circle at the top left indicating the level of completion, and saw a little gray arrow on the notes as they get downloaded.   However, on one of the notebooks (3500 notes) the green circle never stops being green (despite 6 hours of downloading) which made me question if the download completed.   The only thing that cleared it was signing out and back in.

Probably. However, the conclusion was that I had to log out and then back in to realize that everything had downloaded and the green circle was no longer there. I’ve seen this behavior several times before.
