Level 5* gazumped 12,074 Posted May 16, 2023 Level 5* Share Posted May 16, 2023 Hi. Seems like it might be a corrupted installation - have you tried uninstalling, powering your device off and on again, and re-download / reinstalling? Link to comment

This is a public forum and the staff very rarely get involved with individual issues. subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and all users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or via the in-app feedback option where it is available). Good luck with the reinstall! Link to comment
rlamarch 0
I tried reinstalling but that didn't help. I looked at the code and the Get-AuthenticodeSignature call is attempting to use PowerShell. I work at a utility company and then don't allow a non admin id to run powershell commands as part of their security procedures. I'll open a support case at the address above. This seems like a poor decision on EverNotes part to assume all users will have access to PowerShell or in my case force me to run EverNote with elevated privileges. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,832 Posted May 30, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted May 30, 2023 If your IT admin blocks access to parts of the OS (like power shell), it’s hardly the fault of a software developer. In such a case use the web client. This is in general advisable for anybody who experiences problems on employer managed computers. Link to comment
Guest
This issue was supposed to be fixed in a recent electron-builder fix here https://github.com/electron-userland/electron-builder/issues/7127 Auto-update runs a digital signature verification on the new update and this code is failing. You might have to manually update until this problem is resolved. Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 12,074 Posted November 2, 2023 Level 5* Share Posted November 2, 2023 We're now several versions past the public releases in July, so the questions still remain: device? OS? Evernote version? And have you tried a full reinstall? Link to comment
