Create an arrow with the keyboard

Jean-François

Idea

Hi!

I'm Jean-Francois from France.

Many of Evernote's competitors offer the ability to make an aesthetically pleasing and convenient arrow by typing on the keyboard "->" which automatically gives us that "→" character.

Is it possible to have this feature quickly?
Thanks to the team of developers!

I use Autohotkey on windows for exactly that purpose (and many others). That way I get the nice bold chunky unicode arrow that I want in whichever program I'm using including EN forums. 🢂 or 🢀 or 🢁 !!

::<-::{U+1F880}
::->::{U+1F882}
::^-::{U+1F881}

The principle is the same. Use a similar keystroke application for whichever platform you are using. Obviously the web browser will depend on the the device OS.

For sure changes to the Evernote editor aren't coming anytime soon.

Make the suggestion via the Feedback option in the apps but don't hold your breath.
