Mogu600 0
I run Safari 16.3 on a MacBook Pro, Big Sur OS 11.7.3. I have used web clipper form safari successfully for several years but the web clipper icon has suddenly disappeared form my Safari task bar. It is still enabled, apparently, although every time I switch on my laptop I get a screen asking me to enable web clipper. I have uninstalled web clipper and downloaded it again and re-enabled it all to no avail. Can anyone help me retrieve the icon? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,174 Posted February 16, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted February 16, 2023 I am running Safari 16.3 on Ventura. WebClipper works without a fail, and is enabled. No idea why it shouldn't work for you, just because of BigSur installed ? How did you get the web clipper download ? From the AppStore or through other sources ? A possible workaround would be to install a second browser (I use Firefox for this) and use it for clipping. Link to comment
Mogu600 0
Thanks - it was downloaded from the App Store. it does work in Firefox and I have concluded that, at least for the moment, I will have to use that as a workaround. Link to comment
