Thanks - it was downloaded from the App Store. it does work in Firefox and I have concluded that, at least for the moment, I will have to use that as a workaround.

I run Safari 16.3 on a MacBook Pro, Big Sur OS 11.7.3. I have used web clipper form safari successfully for several years but the web clipper icon has suddenly disappeared form my Safari task bar. It is still enabled, apparently, although every time I switch on my laptop I get a screen asking me to enable web clipper. I have uninstalled web clipper and downloaded it again and re-enabled it all to no avail. Can anyone help me retrieve the icon?
