0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,114 Posted February 13, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted February 13, 2023 Third party app ... hmmmm There are 3rd party apps that apply tags, and there are 3rd party apps that doesn't. There are 3rd party apps better at it, some are so so, and some are bad. Maybe go to the forum or support of the 3rd party app you have in mind, and tell them to do what you want. If you are nice or convincing enough, they may even listen. Because EN offers an API, but it is not responsible for the use others make of it. Here is an API documentation, and to me it seems rather overwhelming, looking at the huge volume of possible actions allowed through the API. So I think it is more a question of use, less so one of ability. https://dev.evernote.com/doc/reference/ 1 Link to comment
0 Rob Hall 2
I had thought that the limitation was due to the Evernote but I can see from the reference documents you pointed me to that there is a service available to create a tag (I’m mainly using it Evernote). However, one place that could also benefit from the ‘Create Tag’ service does seem to be controlled by Evernote - this is the WebClipper on Safari. Am I right about this? Link to comment
