adding tags

When simply adding one or several tags, I don't want Evernote to consider it an update of the file itself,

so that it does not need to get put at the top of the folder sorted as updated file.

This has been discussed many times. I'd suggest you submit a support ticket to ensure you needs are noted.

You can choose to list your notes by date created.
