Removing Extra Lines above an Image requires relocating Cursor to continue

In a clipped note I want to remove extra lines above an image. I remove one or two and then I run into the Image Editing tool. Which prevents me from continuing to remove lines. I have to relocate the cursor higher on the note to continue removing lines. Why does the image editor come up using FN + Del to remove lines above an image (maybe only the last line above the image?

Just a theory without being there: Any picture is wrapped into a sort of container. When the cursor is already in the container, it will interpret the line removal as editing - and offer the appropriate tools.

Then it’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
