When I invoke the web clipper and choose screenshot, I can use the crosshairs to select content, I hear a click, yet I do not get the window for annotations and saving.

Thanks for leading me in the right direction. I found that there is some sort of conflict with the Eagle extension. When I turn it off, Evernote screenshots seem to be working normally. Kind of adds up since Eagle also has a screenshot function. Might be something that Evernote engineers need to address.

Maybe it is just a question of the sequence in which extensions are enabled.

My setup is much leaner, most of your adguard stuff is not needed, because it all ends up in my pi hole. In general every extension weakens internet security - even when the devs of the extension claim they enhance it.

If you want to report it to the devs, you need to issue a support ticket.
