stocky2605 401
it would be great being able to select several notes to e. g. move them to a notebook or to tag them in one go. Just tap and hold on a single note to enter multi-select mode, then select all needed notes and then provide some actions like move, tag or delete Link to comment
1 Brendan Murphy 26
I’d like to be able to merge notes which would require the ability to select multiple notes from a list. Like many email programs where you can edit the list and select multiple emails and take actions on them. Link to comment
0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,116 Posted October 29, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted October 29, 2022 Yes sure, it would be a large step to an „adult“ client on the mobile platform. Being able to select several notes at a time would open the path to have more than 1 EN session in parallel on the iPad. I think it is a typical use case for many users to have one session open for writing and another beside it to research the own database. Unfortunately the mobile platform seems very much locked down to this „one note as a time“ operating mode. So as much as I would welcome if these limits would be lifted, I see the chances as dim it will happen. Link to comment
0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,116 Posted January 7, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted January 7, 2023 Use the desktop app. No merging on web and mobile. These clients only allow to select and work on a single note at any time. Link to comment
