Typing is erratic after saving a Note and resuming editing

Recommended Posts

Please see attached video for more details.

  1. I create a new note and add a new item
  2. I then click the green tick icon to save it.
  3. I go into the note again and start to add another item, but the typing is erratic; letters are deleted, picking a whole word from the keyboard suggestion doesn't work, letters appear from previously typed attempts.

This only happens after saving the note and returning to it. I've tried reinstalling Evernote but it still persists. This happened on iOS v15, and I upgraded to v16, and still happening. Evernote v10.41 installed. Any ideas?

Hello, I’m having the same issue. I came to HELP in hopes that someone from Evernote could address this issue. If I can type a note, I can’t use the app. I’ve used the app since 2012. This glitch is hindering productivity. I don’t want to switch to my iPhone’s Note app.

Evernote, I have included a screenshot of what is going on. It is not the keyboard. My keyboard is performing fine to draft this message. I only have issues when typing a note in the Evernote app.

Please advise us all and address the glitch.

Thank you.

If anyone on the thread finds or receives a resolution, please share. Thank you.
