Export notes in HTML format and version update

Recommended Posts

I have Evernote v 6.25.1 on one computer and it allows me to export notes in .html format, and v 10.3.7 on another computer which only allows .enx export. Two issues/questions:

1. Did the .html export feature get removed?

2. On the computer with v 6.25.1, when I check for updates it says I am using the latest version. What am missing?

Thanks!

There are two distinct "major" versions of Evernote -- the newer "v10" version and the older "legacy" versions.

That version 10.3.7 that you have is the newer v10, but it is also a very old version of the newer v10 released on November 10, 2020. (See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500001700002) If you upgrade to the latest version of Evernote v10 (https://evernote.com/download) you will get version 10.44.8 (as of Sept 18, 2022) which was released on 8/31/2022. This will allow you to export notes in html format.

Version 6.25.1 is end of life and sounds like can't be automatically upgraded through the "check for updates" process. On that computer you can also download the latest version of Evernote and install it as well.

- Provided the computer is running Windows 10 or a recent Mac or iOS version....
