Function of hyperlinking to text by Ctrl+v

Hello,

I don't remember the release number, but I frequently used the function of hyperlinking file or website to text using ctrl+v shortcut after the update.

But now I can't use this function. When I try ctrl+v to text, the text is just deleted and the link is showed as normal text.

How can I activate this function again?

Try using Ctrl +K instead...  Ctrl +V is 'paste'

@gazumpedthe function was released in 10.39.6. Selecting text in a note and then pasting (ctrl+V) a url automatically creates a link using the selected text as the "text" and the url as the "link".

This is still working for me in  Windows 10.44.8

Perhaps @GYBcould give some more details of OS, version etc
