S Dan Bailey 0
For the last year, i have been dealing with sync issues between my Macbook and iPhone. It doesn't matter how long I wait, I have duplicate Notes created at least 2 to 3 times a week. Very frustrating. In MS One Note they have an option in the dropdown menu called "Sync All Notebooks". Why doesn't Evernote offer that as an option. Otherwise, I love the app!!! Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,257 Posted August 15, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted August 15, 2022 iOS: App settings, synchronization, sync now. Mac: Hold down opt, click on Help menu, select Troubleshooting, select Reload or Force Reload. Or use the keyboard shortcuts. Link to comment
S Dan Bailey 0
@PinkElephant Thanks! So do I need to do that every time I access my Evernote on a different device? Painful Link to comment
wanfadzil 0
I used to have sync issues until a couple of upgrades ago. You dont have to manually sync everytime you open EN. It syncs automatically when you open, which is why in some cases it can take a little too long to open. The manual sync is there just in case some notes dont get synced in time - poor connectivity or note too heavy - then you force a sync immediately. Link to comment

At least I don't. I have copies of my Evernote data on 5 devices. I manually refresh every once in a while on my iPhone, but I've never had to do it on my Macs or Windows machines. 1 Link to comment
