ericMB 16
Here is another example of a URL that does not end in ".html":https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop/home/outdoor-living/picnic/56087-tablecloth-clips Like many commercial sites, the page is rendered by a server, so it has no .html suffix.Clicking the link in Evernote simply fails. The capacity to open Evernote links in the Evernote editor is wonderful, but the URL processing is making URLs next to useless for dozens of product links I maintain. Please find some other way to distinguish Evernote URLs from every other URL in the world. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,738 Posted July 20, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted July 20, 2022 This is quite annoying for everybody, since the word HOME is found in many URLs somewhere. It can even be embedded into a link that does not work (try www.mylittlehomesite.neat, and make it a link), EN will find the magic characters and send the user to his own EN home page. Until this bug is fixed, copy the URL to a browser, and open it there. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,738 Posted August 10, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted August 10, 2022 This seems to be solved - at least on my Mac client 10.42.7 it now correctly opens websites containing the text HOME. It does not open the EN Home Screen any more. Link to comment
