BKcovington 0
We have a large note that was updated at 9am today by one person. Everyone closed down the desktop app and no one was using the document on web. Yet every update made was deleted. Could anyone shed some light on this? These edits were extensive and we are not sure how to recover everything. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,072 Posted May 28, 2022 Level 5* Share Posted May 28, 2022 Hi. Was this a shared note, or do several people have access to the same account? Has anyone tried the Note History content? Use note history to view older versions of a note Also see: What to do if content is missing from a note Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,827 Posted May 28, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted May 28, 2022 You can check note history. But in this case I would check the issue with support. Edits on shared notes are not easy to sync - this IMHO should be looked up on the server as well. If the support contact comes too late, it will be more difficult to check the server logs. In general avoid to have large single notes. EN syncs the whole note - if it is large, syncing takes longer. If possible split the large note into smaller ones. Sharing several notes is made easy by sharing a notebook instead of an individual note. All notes are in that notebook. By creating a TOC (table of content) note the overview and navigation is improved. Link to comment
