Odd "a" symbol before all tasks

How do I remove these "a" symbols from appearing before my tasks - they weren't there a couple days ago and showed up right after I updated Evernote. Its very distracting

No idea.

Standard procedure „cure for all ills“ for the Windows client would be this:

1. Go to File > Sign Out [name] from the menu bar.
2. Select the "Remove my Evernote data from this device" option, then click Sign out.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Sign back in to Evernote

If this doesn’t help, issue a support ticket.

This seems to be an actual general issue with the web client, even in unordered lists. (Only since today…)

If it is a web client issue, it would be advantageous if users post it in the appropriate subforum, or mention they mean the web client while posting in the Windows forum.

Just wanted to try it in Safari on the iPad. No luck, the web client bombed as soon as I tried to type the first character 🤷‍♂️

Maybe I have time later to try on the Mac.

This issue was cross platform, showing on my cell app, Chrome browser, and windows desktop application. I had to sign out of all of them, then sign back in for the symbols to be removed.
