I'm having problems taking snapshots of my screen.. everytime I try it, I don't get an image from the selected area (a window or specific area of a window), but from the desktop background. I get the same size i select, but the image i get is from the desktop; not from the window I choose. Can anyone help me out please? Link to comment

I have described in the same thread how to solve this problem - just scroll a little farther down from the main solution posted by Shane. In case the new preference does not take effect right away, restart the Mac once. 2 Link to comment
