Feature request: When importing from folder, update the notes if files were edited instead of creating new ones

I'm currently using Evernote as a library for all my pdf handwritten notes but every time i edit something in the pdf the Evernote import that as a new file instead of updating it! Also, there is a bug that Evernote keeps importing one of my files over and over again even though i didn't edit that file!!!!! It's so annoying!!! Can we have an option to replace the note if the name of the imported file is the same?

This would indicate there's something happening to the file that triggers the re-import   
Is there anything unique going on with this one file?

My preference is to have a delete option   
I don't need two copies of the files, and such re-imports wouldn't happen

@Kearsu In general I don’t think it is a good idea to change a function because (maybe) the existing one has a bug.

Tried to involve support about it yet ?
