Evernote 10.12 immediately crashes when attempting to start

EN: version 10.12 

Phone: OnePlus 6T

Android: v 10

OxygenOS: 10.3.11

After updating to EN 10.12 from Play store, starting EN immediate brings up a box with message "Evernote keeps stopping".

I tried rebooting => same result.

I do not particularly want to nor should I need to uninstall and reinstall. No other apps required this. 

I guess I need to hunt around and go back to a previous version.

Very disappointing.

Uninstall and try the direct install from the EN website.

Fixed the error by clearing both the cache and storage. 

Did not uninstall the app. I guess this should be the one of the troubleshooting steps to go when/if you get an problem.

Yeah - but I‘m on iOS, no cache & storage cleaning there.

Good if you could fix it this way !
