JRS8877 1
I downloaded 10.15.6 for Mac recently, and my line spacing is totally messed up. Every time I make a hard return, the space between lines is 16 points. It's 16 points whether my font is 16, 12, 8, or 20. A 16-point space for 12-point font looks ridiculous to the point of being unreadable. I've tried all the usual suspects: clear formatting, highlighting the invisible character in the blank line and changing the font, etc. No luck. How do I fix this? Moreover, the default font size is now 16. I have no idea how to change it to a different default. Pleas help. Thank you. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,117 Posted June 13, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted June 13, 2021 Both formatting points you mention are currently by default and can’t be changed. If you want to get the old layout and design options, you can install the legacy client side by side. But when opening a note in the new client, what you currently see is what you get. JRS8877 1
Thank you for your reply. I cannot fathom why this is the default and why it cannot be changed. But, I'll re-download the old version and make do. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,117 Posted June 21, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted June 21, 2021 It is a design decision taken by EN, to make the new editor and app independent from the OS where it is running. Link to comment
