V10.9 - The insert menu and formatting bar are gone from top of the note.

UPDATE: I just needed to click inside the note.

 

I just downloaded and installed 10.9.10-win-ddl-public (2439).

What happened to the insert menu and menu bar at the top of note?  I can't find any way to bring it back.

Is there something obvious with the new release that I'm missing?

You've probaby already tried this but the editing menu only appears if you click into the note.

I had been clicking around the area for the format bar but not inside the note.

Well, mine is really gone. I am expecting it while editing a note. Format bar is gone and I cannot find a way to bring it back. Please help

@Alvaro27 I only had the problem once. As the thread says, I was not clicking in the area for the note. Once I did that, the menu bar appeared. Your problem sounds different.

Full details please of device,  Evernote version and exactly what you're trying to do...
