Feedback #2 : Note List View : Snippets

There’s a lot of dead space when there are no Note Preview options selected so I recommend removing the dead space and making it more compact.

If I select Show Reminders from Note Preview, it adds extra spacing but since there’s no reminder, it’s wasted space.

Yeah, I definitely agree with that.  Between the note list and the note header, I would really like to see less dead space overall.

Puzzled by the example screenshots.
In v10.3.6, the View Options icon has the menu shown in my attached screenshot - with Note List View options and Columns option; no "Note Preview" options. How did you get to the menu in your examples.

Also, it is possible to re-size the sidebar, note list and note panes by dragging on the vertical edhge separating them.

I'll have to remember to add the version I'm looking at. When I posted the feedback, it was with one or two previous versions.

I'm now using 10.3.6 and I see that when NOTE VIEW LIST is set to either Cards or Snippets, then NOTE PREVIEW is shown; When Note View List is List then Note Preview is changed to Columns.

I agree that the width of the sidebar can be resized but you scan't changed the height of the cards.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. As I don't use the cards or snippets view I wasn't aware of that difference in the menu.

It looks like it's the Cards view where the effect is most noticeable - it looks like there is a "default blank line£ for each of the options (show images/text/tagsreminders) that have been turned off. May not be a simple fix.

I think having an additional option to change the information density could be worthwhile here.  Similar to the way Gmail handles it maybe.  They have options for Comfortable and Compact.  Just throwing that out here.
