New note randomly appears in my inbox

This morning a new note randomly showed up in my inbox.  It is actually an old note that was stored in a different notebook.  I'm guessing this may be a note recovered from an earlier synchronization problem?

When you view the note's info, is the creation date accurate? As in, is it saying that it is an actual old note, or is it a new note that contains the content from an old note?
