Doesn’t stay on note when i go to a different app

Hi there, first time posting. I’ve been irritated for awhile now about this and figured i should submit a ticket. Just upgraded to Premium.

Say I’ve just started a new note - an article I’m writing. If I go to chrome to search data, and return to Evernote, it scrambles my notes and takes me to a different one. Super annoying.

Also, say I’ve searched a specific spot on a long page and found it, if i leave to another app to research, when i return to evernote it’s lost my place in the note and plopped me onto a whole other note.

Can you fix this?

Which Evernote version are you using   
We thought this problem was solved in v10.0

I made sure to DL the latest version bc I saw that youve made updates to iOS.

This issue seems worse in 10 not better. In fact yesterday I was 45 minutes in a meeting with a chunk of notes and switched to WebEx Teams for about 1 min to chat to my boss. Went back to Evernote 10 and not only did it need to reload the app this time but it hadn't saved those 45 minutes of work locally or in the cloud! it was all lost!  I've tried to recreate as much of it as I can but wow.  I'm on iPadOS 14.0 on iPad Pro 12.9 2020, no betas installed.

Seems worse for me as well in 10. But I gotta say iOS 14 is pretty rough and I get lots of memory issues in general, so might not be Evernote's fault.
