Bradfordh 0
I am trying to synch all of my notes on a new machine, and I have installed and uninstalled Evernote and restarted the machine several times. The only notes that are synching are the ones that I have recently edited on another machine. How do I force ALL of my notes to synch to the new machine?? Please help. Link to comment

Bradfordh 0
Yes, I'm getting the notes that are updated on the other machine, but any notes that aren't actively updated will not synch. Link to comment

Be aware that syncing is from data on the Evernote servers Check this data via the web at www.evernote.com to make sure your data is there To force a full sync on your new device: Hold the **Shift** and **Option** keys on your keyboard and click the sync icon Link to comment

This worked. Thank you. How simple would it have been for Evernote to post this shortcut in an easy to find set of start up directions. That's a miss, Evernote. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,794 Posted July 17, 2020 Level 5 Share Posted July 17, 2020 The EN tips for starting to use it are designated at new users. When a user moves from one computer to another, he is not a new user. And usually when you install EN fresh on a new computer, it will start to sync the whole server data base automatically. So why describe something as standard procedure that should happen all by itself ? Link to comment
