Disable spellcheck; locally

Sometimes my notes contain VBA code like "sheet3", "columns.count", "EntireRow", etc. and with punctuation that is not grammatical.  So I end up with notes filled with irrelevant red underlines that are not only distracting but annoying.  

Is there a way to stop spell checking locally, just on the current note?

To my knowledge no - this is toggled on or off for the whole session. So you can switch it off when you start to work on such specific notes, but it will not disable itself when going back to normal prose.
