Copy and Paste added extra line break

Please refer to below video demo, Evernote automatically added a line break in the copied text which created so many trouble when I copy and paste items like a password from it ...

Yes please solve this asap! This is super annoying and causes unexpected bugs when pasting in other apps.

For the record, as a premium evernote user, I created ticket #2822847 about this.

FTR got the following answer from support for my ticket #2822847:

Here's a workaround for this issue: Paste into TextEdit first, copy again in TextEdit, then paste into your destination app.

If you revert to version 7.3.1 this issue is not present.  You'll have to delete your local copy of your notes library for the older version to work and re-sync.

I am having the same issue on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and Evernote 10.23.7-mac-mas-public (458800). Pasting into a code block in Evernote inserts line breaks - pretty annoying.

No, support is not available for Free users (except on account issues).

There are already tickets about this issue, it is not new. I think EN has it on the backlog, but probably not with a high priority.
