Search only works for new notes

Since upgrading to the latest version of Evernote (after installing OSX High Sierra) searching in evernote only finds notes I've recently created. It's as though it hasn't indexed older notes, even if I search the exact name and open & edit them.

The search dose work on the web version.

I have the same problem

First screendump shows all Enfocus notes, Second Using Search only provides some useless links and two recent notes.

The system was upgraded 10.14.6 safety update of around 10/10/2019.

After that this problem occurred. 
I had this problem in 2018, also after an Mac OS upgrade.

As the solution is in Evernote, but I cannot find it.....because the search is not working .....;-(
