Unable to install on Windows 7 64 Bit

I keep getting the same error message. "Unable to open. Verify your Windows package exists," etc.

Please see the attachment.

I've tried different versions to download Evernote from different sources, but it is always the same message.

Hi.  Have you tried restarting the device and installing as Administrator?

My thought too, but even easier: try right-clicking on the installer, and selecting "Run as Administrator".

Thanks for the suggestions folks, but alas, run as administrator did not change anything. Still the same error message.

 

I forgot to mention in the original post that I had rebooted to no avail.

Hmmn.  Has this device ever had Evernote installed before,  or are we talking about an update to the current version?

Four years ago it did. However, when I went to use it now, it wouldn't start, so I uninstalled it and tried a fresh install.
