To be able to reduce the size of the columns for notebooks and notes (more than currently allowed), or even hide those panes to allow max use of windows width for the note contents.

I prefer top list view with a minimal sidebar, giving full width to the note contents
We also have the option of hiding the sidebar

or opening the note in it's own window.
