INSTALLING NEW VERSION OF EVERNOTE 6.13

I currently have EN 6.13.1.307192 installed. Every time I try to replace it with the updated version, it hangs and eventually leaves a message a bookstrapper:

(c:\bootstrapper.cpp.981) oxl: Incorrect function

 Is there some way I can complete the installation? Thanks for any help.

Hi.  Lots of similar posts in the Forums - the standard advice in situations like this is to reinstall your existing version.  Previous version of Evernote are available in the individual release notes (if this is the right one...)

or via http://filehippo.com/download_evernote/history for public releases

Once you have a refreshed install,  its possible to uninstall completely,  then it should be possible to download the new version and update from there.
