upnix 36 Posted January 29, 2020 Share Posted January 29, 2020 Running macOS 10.13.6 with Evernote 7.14 (App store version). I haven't contacted support as I anticipate the response will be "reinstall," which seems to waste an opportunity for Evernote to avoid this problem with other users. So, I'm hoping this is useful to someone. 😀 Evernote is currently syncing continuously, draining my battery, and using about 7KB up, 5KB down of bandwidth. Looking at my sync log I'm seeing (in part): Quote 2020/01/29 10:26:30:825 W|** 16483 -[ENCoreDataLocalStore fetchEntityOfType:withPredicate:] | More than one result for entityName=ENResource, predicate=guid == "c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60", results=( "<ENMacResourceMO: 0x6000008b0140 MOID: 0xc618001cb <x-coredata://16C8E5FF-2E42-47C8-AD37-305DC50248EA/ENResource/p12678> GUID: c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60 Account: (null) USN: 752217 Active: 1 Dirty: 0 Filename: (null) Hash: <1d06b051 187d3fe6 198ae472 c989fc0c> Length: 67374>", "<ENMacResourceMO: 0x6000008aff60 MOID: 0xc654001cb <x-coredata://16C8E5FF-2E42-47C8-AD37-305DC50248EA/ENResource/p12693> GUID: c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60 Account: (null) USN: 752217 Active: 1 Dirty: 0 Filename: (null) Hash: <1d06b051 187d3fe6 198ae472 c989fc0c> Length: 67374>" ) 2020/01/29 10:26:30:837 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager fetchNextBatchOfDownloadOperationsUsingBackgroundTransfers:]_block_invoke | Processing 1 notes 2020/01/29 10:26:30:837 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [d0854938-487f-4594-865b-6b57aa462e47] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:838 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [2928014b-cc0a-47a8-bbc2-cdba4d497941] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:838 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [6f3b0227-39ea-4f82-82c2-1f687e3994fa] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:838 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [6c0f3b6d-395a-4a11-a537-047b592bfce9] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:838 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [59dd929e-9ab4-4b71-bbd5-e044a1d39339] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:838 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [42c0ba9e-a290-44a4-a5fe-34ab4ba60f87] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:838 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [c3fd3a60-ca22-47ec-86f8-d7ebe0a9797e] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:839 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [f6538811-c24f-4bc0-ad69-7ffd222ade09] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:839 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Queueing Reco Data: c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60 2020/01/29 10:26:30:839 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Not queuing content (file exists): c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60 2020/01/29 10:26:30:839 I|* 16488 -[ENCacheManager generateOperationsForResource:usingGenerator:] | Received resource with cacheStatus:1, generated no operations [c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60] 2020/01/29 10:26:30:962 W|** 16483 -[ENCoreDataLocalStore fetchEntityOfType:withPredicate:] | More than one result for entityName=ENResource, predicate=guid == "c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60", results=( "<ENMacResourceMO: 0x6000008b0140 MOID: 0xc618001cb <x-coredata://16C8E5FF-2E42-47C8-AD37-305DC50248EA/ENResource/p12678> GUID: c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60 Account: (null) USN: 752217 Active: 1 Dirty: 0 Filename: (null) Hash: <1d06b051 187d3fe6 198ae472 c989fc0c> Length: 67374>", "<ENMacResourceMO: 0x6000008aff60 MOID: 0xc654001cb <x-coredata://16C8E5FF-2E42-47C8-AD37-305DC50248EA/ENResource/p12693> GUID: c9397a0e-602a-44ee-a917-06857663ba60 Account: (null) USN: 752217 Active: 1 Dirty: 0 Filename: (null) Hash: <1d06b051 187d3fe6 198ae472 c989fc0c> Length: 67374>" ) I've bolded the parts that I think represent the problem. These images sharing the "16C8E5FF-2E42-47C8-AD37-305DC50248EA" guid show up fine in Evernote. These images are also showing up in the web interface This syncing problem is much more recent than these notes I've been running Evernote 7.14 since release So here is where my lack of Evernote knowledge leaves me. I'll hang out on the web client for a day or so, then probably just resort to reinstalling. Hope this can help someone! Link to comment

One point on reinstalling Make sure you delete the local database folder. Logging in will rebuild the local database; except for local notebooks and unsync'd notes Link to comment
