  1. Yep I did Dave, waiting to hear back. But I am not hopeful. The Note in the android app (where I wrote the update) doesn't have the data in it anymore, and it hasn't reached the server. I checked the note history and it says it was last updated 2 days before I made the changes. I assume something went wrong and the RTE sync went the wrong way. @s2sailor I think the only thing we can say is that it's been rolled out too early for many of us, probably thousands that are fine. From my perspective it seems like another feature that sounds cool to a programmer but it's questionable how many customers actually wanted it - but EN certainly isn't alone in adding those. Either way the default should be to preserve all data when things go wrong. The old sync seemed to do that. While having duplicate/conflict notes pop up from time to time was a bit annoying, it's infinitely preferable to this alternative for my money. Either way I'm looking at alternatives. Once trust is broken it's hard to get it back.
  2. Cheers s2sailor. I really wish they wouldn't break stuff that is mission critical when introducing new features. I have no need for RTE so at least make new features optional. Syncing always worked for me, worst case scenario I used to end up with duplicates, which was annoying, but at least I knew all the data was there. I'm in a real bind now because of their incompetence, and frankly I don't know if I can trust EN anymore - who knows when they are going to introduce some feature (no doubt to try and justify the huge price rises) and break everything again? It's a terrible start for the new owners.
  3. Same problem here. Lost an entire lecture worth of notes. No concurrent editing. Changes are not present on the web version or desktop so I assume it hasn't synced. Started getting 'can't save this note' errors as well on the desktop and web versions when I try to update notes. Android app has also started crashing frequently on launch. Really steamed about it as well. It's not like I can ask the lecturer to do the lecture all over again just for me. First time I've had syncing problems. Seemed to start when they started with this AI cleanup stuff. What the ****** have EN done? I'm in a real bind in my course now - if I can't rely on it to save a simple text note then EN is completely and utterly useless to me.
  4. This is about windows, and I have exactly the same issue here - CPU running at 15-20% when doing absolutely nothing with the program, simply minimised in the background. No other software does this on my PC, and it is a fresh Windows 10 install, so it is definitely an issue with Evernote. "That some people seem to have similar problems says nothing." That is the most staggering comment I have ever heard from someone saying they are part of "support". Only subscribers can contact support, the rest of us are sent here. What we have received so far is "it isn't a bug as people haven't been complaining" and when people complain we get "That some people seem to have similar problems says nothing." from a guy who isn't even using the same operating system.
