There is already an insert button '+' at the top with the exact same selections. Anything but a normal cursor prompt is a distraction and a negative impact to user productivity.

Recent series of update have been cluttering and quite useless. Really takes away the user experience of using Evernote. The core product is good without these disruptive bells and whistles. This particular update is clearly annoying and unnecessary.

The difference between 'actual size' and 'zoon in' size is from front 16pt to font 24pt. Why such a large leap? This is madness. This is an easy fix. Evernote team, what are you guys thinking?
