  1. That doesn't work either. This is becoming a joke to get support. It tells me I need to create a ticket. Lol... Tried a bunch of field options to see if it would give me an option to speak with someone or email or whatever... nope. See SS:
  2. sadly... that didn't work either. tried new browser. It cycles back to the login. I have Premium subscription... and I know my credentials are good... and nothing on my end otherwise is preventing anything- that I can think of. (I'm an ex Network IT guy)
  3. OK... so that worked... AND it imported it into a new notebook called "Imported - Conflicting Notes" SO.... now, I know I'll have duplicates of duplicates- since you've confirmed that the notes do get imported when double-clicking on a enex ile. Ugghghghghg
  4. @s2sailor I will try that now... to import from within the app. Fingers crossed. Hopefully I won't end up with have conflicting files of conflicting files.... UGGGH
  5. @PinkElephant I tried the URL you gave me... and it does the same thing- takes me right into the LOGIN screen. I'm already logged in in another tab. I'll try to login to the login window... then it just takes me back into the web version of evernote itself. It's been like this for quite some time too. Tried a bunch of things to resolve that issue... and have zero luck.
  6. @PinkElephant @s2sailor When I received the warning message about local notebooks not being allowed, I'm pretty sure it said Export NOTES... and NOT Export NOTEBOOK. Just an FYI. The exported file is called "Conflicting Changes.enex" When I double-clicked it.. it said it put them in INBOX. When I go into INBOX... both on the web version and the new local version on my PC.... and sorted by either Last Created OR Last Updated... I don't see anything that would remotely be close (towards the top... say 20 notes) to what I think would be the Conflicting Notes I had exported/imported. The conflicting notes would be from quite awhile ago... and I'm pretty sure I know what 1 of them is. Make that TWO... now that I did an "OPEN WITH" for the file and chose Notepad to view it. I could make on ONE of the note titles.... the rest was a bunch of html/code all garbled together. The top say 20 notes... in the INBOX...are all notes I'm aware of that have nothing to do with Conflicting Changes. So... any ideas with that new info? Besides going through this MASSIVE file via Notepad? Thanks again for stepping in to help! Truly appreciate it. AND... do either of you know why it's impossible for me to get to LIVE CHAT and the option to Create New Tickets... (as I mentioned in Original posting?) Prophat
  7. Hi all... So...I just had the unfortunate experience of having Evernote HALT synchronization for my nice stable old version of 6.22 on my Windows 10 PC. Since it stopped the sync... is figured I'd just try logging out and then log back in. That turned out to be a bad idea... since then I couldn't even get back in. Got the "Could not connect to Server" message... or something along those lines. FINE. I chose the option to upgrade. Upgraded... and then it said I had a local notebook... which isn't allowed apparently in the new version... so I chose the option to EXPORT those 6 notes from the local notebook called "Conflicting Changes." I double-clicked on the file it saved for these notes/notebook.... and it said it put them in the INBOX. So now after looking in the INBOX... and not seeing the notes I think are the notes that would have been imported towards the top of the INBOX- HOW IN THE HECK do I find these 6 notes? The Notebook originally was called "Conflicting Changes" I think... and the notes within that didn't really have "conflicting changes" in their respective titles... and I have no clue how to tell which notes are the ones that were imported- that need my attention to fix those conflicting changes. Does that make sense? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. SO super annoyed that Evernote forced me to go through this. I still couldn't get into Live Chat or Create A New TIcket... as it just doesn't work- constantly takes me back into the web version of Evernote itself. Sincerely, Prophat
  8. Also had this problem for quite some time... and noticed it was the reCaptcha pop-up window that wasn't happening when initially trying to login via the extension login window. I also would then do the same ordeal of logging into evernote.com in another tab... and then going back to click on the extension to login. That time around it then pops up the ReCaptcha "I'm not a Robot" box... and can login just fine. Interesting find... and test: I went to chrome://settings in chrome and to Privacy & Security. Then Site Settings... and found Evernote.com. I clicked on that and noticed pop-ups are blocked by default. I switched it to allow pop-ups. HOPEFULLY... that does the trick and keeps things working from here on out. Maybe it's blocking the ReCaptcha pop-up box? I'm not entirely sure. Worth it to at least try it out. I'll put a reminder in my calendar to come back to give an update here... in 6 months. Would love to see others try this out as well and come back here to post your results/findings.
  9. I just noticed I'm also being billed twice. The main problem I'm having with this now is that I can't even create a ticket. I clicked on the link (https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) and it then goes to log me out of evernote. What's the deal with that? I've tried a few times.... same ordeal. Any help on this would be appreciated. Update: Correction, Paypal is just goofy with how it lists the invoices. It wasn't showing the year for the transactions, so it looked like I was billed twice. After clicking on the "Show History" option under "you and evernote corporation" in paypal, I can see the years. Paypal issue. Still weird that I kept getting logged out of Evernote when I click on that link above. <shrug>
  10. In Windows 10, the best way I've found is to just use the Emoji shortcut: Windows Key + ; (semicolon) Other option is to... Use the Touch Keyboard: Right-click on the Windows Taskbar and choose "Show Touch Keyboard Button".... which then places a little keyboard icon/button in the lower right side of the taskbar. Then you simply click that when you need to use emojis: There's an Emoji key right next to the spacebar on that virtual keyboard. The On Screen Keyboard on the other hand (Windows Key + O ... didn't have an Emoji key- at least not for me. Not sure why that is... but I'm totally fine with the options mentioned above.
