Updating my report from earlier -- I know this forum can't help, but support is backlogged and they couldn't help the first time a few months ago when I noticed hundreds of notes were gone. (Their advice: use legacy. Not)
I have been writing a long article for a few days, updating it when I have new thoughts.
This morning, opened my laptop, gave it a few minutes to get everything online, and started adding to the article.
IN THE MIDST OF WRITING, Evernote decided to sync, ERASING MOST of my three days' worth of work.
And no, history has no record of all that writing to recover.
The frustrating part is I should have left Evernote the first time a few months ago, or at least a few weeks ago when a note evaporated.
But I keep hoping.... this morning has to be it....
Definition of insanity, keep doing the same thing OVER AND OVER, hoping for a different result.
My 30K notes are finding a new home.
