This is one of my biggest gripes about Evernote at present. There is zero reason the search box location should jump because of AI functionality (or otherwise).

This is another one of those death-by-a-thousand-cuts Evernote “features” [1]. I don’t want to connect my calendar. And I don’t want to be nagged to do so. 1. Just like I don’t want AI functionality — at all — but esp. because the AI “feature” results in search cursor being in a different visual spot than where I clicked (i.e. not in same location on screen) because of “Select Mode”.

Is there a way to disable notifications and, in particular, modals for Evernote updates? Further, is there even value in a point release like this getting such prominence? (If the app insists on showing “latest version” popups—again, not my preference—these should at least be for features updates, not a copy/paste changelog entry.)

+1, as I run into this issue (of losing my note after clearing a search) on a near-daily basis.
