  1. For windows:
In general evernote has problems with some shortcuts that involve the Ctrl key. Personally, I am assigned to "open all notes" with the key combination: Alt+2 and "Search in evernote" with the key combination Ctrl + Shift + F

Now to solve your problem you can do the following:
    1. Open "search in evernote" (in my case Ctrl + Shift + F)
    2. Now press the key combination that shows all the notes (in my case Alt+2).
    3. Evernote will implicitly search everywhere, regardless of whether it was in a notebook.

If Evernote is your primary work tool, consider the compatibility and performance of its iOS version compared to the Windows version. While Evernote's version 10 has had its share of issues on both Mac and Windows, the iOS version may offer a different user experience. It's advisable to check recent user reviews or forums for insights into the performance of Evernote on iOS compared to Windows.

Regarding using additional monitors with a MacBook Pro, it's certainly possible. You'll likely need adapters for the specific ports on your MacBook Pro, such as a VGA adapter and a USB adapter for the additional monitor. Make sure to verify the compatibility of these adapters with your MacBook Pro model.

As for which laptop to choose between the MacBook Pro, Spectre, or Dell XPS, it depends on your specific needs and preferences. Each laptop has its own strengths and weaknesses in terms of performance, design, and ecosystem. Consider factors such as operating system preference, build quality, hardware specifications, and budget when making your decision. Additionally, reading reviews and comparing specifications can help you make an informed choice.

Speaking of Evernote 10, how does Mac offer a different experience on macOS as opposed to Windows?

According to opinions, does Evernote 10 perform better on iOS than on Windows?

I will soon buy a Mac computer and I would also like to know your experiences, especially of @PinkElephant because I know you are a mac user and very active in these forums

I wrote several times to this address. And I always get the answer: “The message was not delivered because the service does not accept messages.”

I notice that in a message above you sent a message to the account feeback@evernote.com instead of feedback@evernote.com, perhaps that is the error.

You can also submit a ticket to technical support: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Or write in the Twitter threads where they publish the news:

I now see that Notion is smart enough not to pop up the menu when you type http:// or https://
if EN wants to emulate this, they should make it ease to use (and offer disabling it for those who want their EN note taking to continue undisturbed as they are used to)

I'm starting to get used to reading "it will be a gradual development." It seems that they urgently need to release new features even if they are incomplete or unstable.

Let's hope they listen to the suggestions of their users and that the ship reaches a safe port...

Very agressive from Evernote to promote a new feature this way. Every line now has a grey slash...

I think that with this feature they are trying to attract Notion users.

That's fine, but they also need to take care of the loyal users they still have left...

With such intrusive changes they should offer the possibility of deactivating the message.

    It is very very annoying!

I have just been forced to update from an old version of Evernote. Where everything worked great.

These newer versions are all so cluttered with nonsense that I don't need, at this point I may as well be using Microsoft word to write simple notes

I think the same, it is quite annoying to have the message constantly. For now we will have to adapt and learn to live with this 💩

In addition to sending the message to the feedback email, you can also write your feedback to the twitter account of @evernote and Federico Simionato @fedesimio

I didn't get this in the Windows desktop app. But, following advice, I quite Evernote and restarted, and there it is. I'm a little curious to see how I respond to it. I only need to do any of the actions on that / menu fairly uncommonly, apart from adding a note link, which I do by habit with Ctrl+Alt+K. I will try to see if the ever-present / nag is something I can train myself to ignore, to emotionally detach from. Maybe it will be a good exercise for personal growth! 😀

I don't need to be reminded in every paragraph that with slash I insert an element, it really is an emotional challenge to ignore the message and stay productive

Hi.  Sorry - you can't.  Not yet anyway.  Feel free to tell the company how you feel with feeback@Evernote.com - we're mainly other users here...

@gazumpedI didn't know that I could send feedback to Evernote through that email.
I have already submitted my need to have a parameter to disable the "press / to insert an element..." message.

    Thanks for sharing.

That was one of the reasons I uninstalled Notion... it literally pissed me off that he kept telling me what to do...

Do you know what would happen if Microsoft put this in Word? All the women would go crazy...

Remember, it was designed by programmers and all the programmers are excited... But Evernote is not designed only for programmers.. but for ordinary people who don't even use CTRL+S in Windows...

Little things decide, people are not rational but emotional......

To me, it's on the same level of bullshit as me saying this:

    image.png.c84304cbca86f65fb870cb19aeced350.png

You were missing an item that says "press any key to start typing..."

  10. I tried to disable the annoying slash notice in notion but there is no way to do it.

If they copied the Notion feature, I hope that the people at Evernote don't go down that same path and offer us an alternative to have a clean note to write.

It's really annoying and I wish I could go back to the version where my notes were clean and I wrote without distractions. I can't imagine, for example, a Microsoft Word with this intrusive and annoying message.
