I'm not a big font user when writing notes but I have a template set up with a section of fonts and sizes.   I can copy/paste from there.  I'm using an iPad but I trust that also works in Android.

I takes me 20 minutes to export my data on my Mac (weekly backup).  This  leaves me free and clear of Evernote.

yes but I'm talking about getting out of EN in such a way that I would never need it again, not just exporting my notes so that I could be done for the day or the week or whatever.  Google Keep is kinda meh.  OneNote is by evil Microsoft...There's an app called "Turtl" that is a semi decent, free, multi-platform alternative, but it's not nearly as robust as EN.  And at this time I don't think there's a way for me to export/import all my notes from EN to Turtl, so I guess I should just be patient with Evernote and try to maximize what I can get out of it for the time being.

  2. I also think nested stacks would be a great idea.  Sadly, I am just a user and not an Evernote product development person.  However, I recently discovered a web app that works like an extension to Evernote called "filterize" that allows for nested tags/a tag hierarchy, that I think can effectively solve the "problem" of nesting Evernote notebooks.  Filterize is a "freemium" service, at least for now.  http://www.filterize.net

  3. Yeah i seem to have this problem (or some variation of this problem) on my phone a lot.  I very often try to "share to Evernote" using the share picker, and it seems like it doesn't work at least half the time.  The little green elephant will pop up and the circular animation ending in a checkmark will happen, but then when I go to my notes, the article is not there.  It is pretty frustrating.
