Yes, that's what I meant. It does seem like it's the same issue.

@Shane D., thanks for the response. I just had it happen again yesterday, when I updated a note I had made a couple of years ago. Very frustrating. I copied everything from that note into a new one and it synced/uploaded just fine.

Yup, I think that's where I see them. Will remember to take a screenshot the next time it happens.

By the way, how do you quote a member's name (in that little green box)? Can it be done on Android?

    Please read through this thread:

With deepest respect, @gazumped, connection is not the issue (assuming that this problem is the same as the one in that thread). @mmmaak, are you getting popup notifications about note upload failing? I've reported this to Evernote, and they say they are working on it.

Pop-ups? I get them in the "shade" that I drag down to view notifications. Not sure if that's the the right term 😅

Weird.  Checked my device camera and the Evernote feature,  and in the case of a Galaxy Note 4 (I'm well behind the times) the edge you see is the edge you get in both cases.  Suggest you check the device camera for the same extra coverage - it might just be your device that gives extra.  What phone is it anyway?  (..and why were you taking the picture from floor level??)

Will try some screenshot vs actual photo comparisons later, but if my device is adding extra coverage, it isn't something that I noticed previously. It's a Xiaomi Pocophone, by the way. Mi's "budget flagship".

The only other option would be to delete the actual picture -

I would, except I'm not exactly sure where they are 😅. To make matters worse, images saved into Evernote seem to have their filenames changed such that they no longer have date-taken information such as IMG_20190727. So I can't really track them down in my gallery even if I intended to delete them.
