  1. I *think* I fixed it; time will tell.   I changed from the default resolution of 3840x2160 to 2048x1152.  I was then able to press F10 in EN and VOILA! The Left Panel appeared.  I then changed my screen resolution back to the preferred default resolution of 3840x2160 and the Left Panel remained fully visible. Really bizarre.  Is this a bug in EN?

Hi.  Check with the web version anyway - are all your notes present and correct?  If so,  you could exit the Evernote app,  rename the databases folder,  and uninstall / reinstall Evernote to rebuild your database from the server.  That should get around any shock the app is experiencing from being updated several versions in one go...

(NB if you had any Local Notebooks,  you'll need to export their contents,  one notebook at a time and then reimport them.  By definition local notebooks aren't stored on the server.)

Uninstall/Reinstall fixed it.  Weird.  Thank you.  What would cause this issue to occur, any idea?

Simple test would be to create a new note, sync and see if it appears on the web or another device.

If it does, press Ctrl and click on the Sync icon.  If any notes appear they are not syncing for some reason.  Modify them and try to sync again.

Thank you for your reply.  I've already tried doing as you suggested.  It's not syncing.

Hello, we have completed some updates and encourage you all to sign up for free at www.birdforms.com.  Here is a quick video of our early access live environment. Please give us feedback. Email us directly at webmaster@birdforms.com or visit our web site for support. Thanks again.

Is this no longer available?  The website appears to be down.   I' looking for a customizable form/template creator that can be used within EN. Windows platform.

    The Stack is not relevent
To specify the Notebook in your email, add @notebook to the end of your subject line

@gazumped gave a link to the full set of email documentation
You can specify other parameters like tag, reminder

Does "@whatever" need to be at the very end of the subject line?  Can #whatever be anywhere in the subject line?

In general, I find Evernote tables to be poorly implemented.  I would much prefer that they leave the simple tables alone as they are easy to use for a basic table that a user might need.  Going forward for a proper solution, they should add embedded Google Doc spreadsheets in a scrollable frame inside a note for advanced table use  This is a far better solution then having the Evernote team waste their time to re-invent spreadsheet features for their existing tables.

I am only a web user, and I have been frustrated by poor table/spreadsheet support, so I've been working on a Greasemonkey script to embed a Google Doc spreadsheet into an online Evernote page.  See the screenshot below.

It contains an embedded Google doc spreadsheet in my Evernote note page. It's a live spreadsheet, in that changes made in the spreadsheet are also stored back into Google Docs and changes made at Google Docs are reflected into the Evernote page.

I'm making this my own solution for now, until Evernote adds something permanent along these lines.

Pros: easy, full Google Doc spreadsheet integration, live data
Cons: custom solution, possibly not supported in desktop clients, not available and/or difficult to do on small screen mobile clients, and spreadsheets are not searchable.

Can you kindly share your Greasemonkey script solution?  I would like to have the ability to link a Google Spreadsheet inside of EN and have it be an editable, "Live" document.  Thanks.

Livescribe Pen - I think its there latest version

OK thanks.  I think that's the Livescribe 3. That may be my best option although again,  it would add more steps to my current workflow.  LS3 and the Moleskin for EN appear to be my best options at this point.  There a yet to be released smartpen called Phree that has potential as well.

So, is your intention to stay with the Livescribe product, adjusting for the loss of the wifi connection

No,  not at all. Ideally,  I'd like to have the same functionality and workflow that I have now with the Livescribe WiFi.  I'm open to  any and all solutions that closely mimic my current functionality.

Excuse a query from a keyboard-only (well,  mostly) geek,  but why not just replace the livescribe pen?  Is it an Evernote-only version,  or can this sort of thing be bought of the shelf still?  (Just nosy)

Good question; The Livescribe Wifi pen is no longer available or manufactured.

I use Wave notebook by Rocketbook...you can choose from 8 or so cloud services to upload picture of the note..can choose which notebook you want notes in evernote to be placed....once notebook full you microwave all notes erased and you can re use notebook

Interesting.  I'l definitely check it out, thanks for your reply.  Does Wave Notebook take audio recordings as well?  Do you require a special pen I assume?  Is the  upload automatic or do you have to manually upload?

Personally, I find the Livescribe approach overly complicated.

I'd just write on paper and import to Evernote via the camera
Or dispense with paper and use your tablet; I use an iPad

For audio, I'm using an app called Cogi
You don't record the whole session - just the important points
Afterward, it syncs to Evernote and I add the recordings to my note

I don't think Cogi would work for me;  I can't be fiddling with the Cogi app in the middle of a face-to-face meeting to record the highlights.  I need a solution that will start recording a meeting and then I can stop the recording process at the conclusion of the meeting.  Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm at a loss for your description of Livescribe being overly complicated.... it could not be any simpler... I simply write and record audio when necessary and both are AUTOMATICALLY synced to EN. Your method adds a few more steps to the process.

I'll look into Cogi, thanks.  Do you use Livescribe 3?  Android or iOS?

  13. So My Livescribe Wifi pen is dying a slow, painful death.  I want to be able to hand write my notes on paper, add audio when necessary and have them, (hopefully), automatically sync to EN.  What are my alternatives, if any, when my pen finally dies? I'm an Android user FYI. Thanks.

  14. My older Adonit stylus is magnetic. Just stick it on any edge of the iPad or directly on the Smart Cover. Not sure why they didn't do the same for the newer stylus.

About the lack of a clip on the Script. A perfect solution would be this. Adonit or Evernote could make replacement ***** on top caps that contain the clip. Also make one with a lanyard connector. And one with a regular stylus rubber or mesh nub for us artist types. Or even a set of brushes that the software could be amended for use. Offer them as multiple packs. Would be great. The new cap needs a very small rubber o ring so it locks in place. Good idea. I should get a cut from sales. Seriously.

The TenOne Pogo Connect clip works well enough<
