  1. I absolutely agree with you that present functionality for sketching isn't enough for creating handwritten notes. I would also like to see improvements on this.
  2. I might not have understood your item 1 correctly, but as far as I can see, you can make sketches in the IOS app using the pen icon in the bottom of a note.
  3. Long time Evernote user here. On macOS Sierra, MBP 13 late 2016. One bug that's been there for many versions for me, is still there: every time I change font in preferences, Evernote crashes. As for the new GUI, I hate that I can't hide "Recent notes". As mentioned earlier in this thread, I don't need them - ever! Will try to use the workaround with a compact sidebar as described above, but it's just a workaround, not a solution. It takes more time to make a "long click" on an icon to display a list etc, than having a clean list there all the time. Fortunately I'm used to use the keyboard shortcuts for my shortcuts. I use reminders a lot in Evernote, as I use Evernote also for all of my todos. I can't see the point in dimming and decreasing size of the dates/times in the reminder list this much (screendump enclosed). Normally I try to see the point in GUI changes with new versions, but this time I fail.
  4. Thanks for your input. The thing that helps me to live with this "reminder flaw" is that I use Cronofy sync to my Google calendar. This allows me to show Evernote reminders as normal calendar items and drag-n-drop them to move a reminder to another time. This works really good for me, and I can recommend it. Just google it. But of course this only work for existing reminders with a time and date set.
  5. Thanks a lot. That improves things for me. I already use Alfred and has the Powerpack, so it was easy for me to get it running. I had to add the shortcut again, though - just for your information. If you intend to improve this Alfred workflow more, I'd also like to be able to edit the time (hh:mm) when moving/editing the reminder
  6. Thanks a lot. That explains why it didn't work for me. I have the App Store version. I tried it again now, and in EN version 6.13 (455674) App Store version it works fine for me. Both with files and folders.
  7. What a great tip! Unfortunately I just get a dialog that Evernote don't have permission to open the folders or files I tested. I am admin on my Mac (macOS Sierra). I'm running a Swedish version of macOS, but I guess that file:// would still be a valid prefix. Any suggestions?
  8. Exactly the same thing for me. Using latest version of Chrome browser & MacOS Sierra. Tried to uninstall and install web clipper again, but no change. It works on my other Google account, but I guess only because I'm still logged in there. Very annoying, as I use the web clipper quite frequently. UPDATE: today (Febr. 14th) I am able to login again.

It works on my other Google account, but I guess only because I'm still logged in there. Very annoying, as I use the web clipper quite frequently. But I tried to sign into my Evernote account with Chrome, and that gives me the same blank window.
  10. OK, great. Thanks for your reply.
  11. Yes, but I don't want to sort in either of those ways. By "random", I guess the notes are sorted by update date, which is of no use, when I want see the notes in the reminder order. This was really easy in previous IOS versions.
  12. Ah, sorry for being unclear. My saved searches are there, no problem. But when I for example use my saved search for seeing reminders for 3 days, I can't find any way to see them sorted. I just see the notes with reminders within a 3 day range in a random list.
  13. Thanks for a new fresh look. I generally like it, but I have one problem. I use saved searches to see reminders for 1, 2, 3 etc days, up to a week, but can't figure out how to see them sorted in the new version. As other pointed out, the sorting only seems to work when you select Reminders in the Notebook list. The whole point of my saved searches is that I normally don't want to see all my reminders, only those for a particular time span.
  14. I agree on having a shortcut for reminders would be really nice. I'd also like to have the "remove date" in IOS version on the Mac version, i.e. keep the reminder, but remove the date.
  15. Thanks for your answer, which was what I needed. I was really excited about the possibility to connect (link to) Google Drive Docs to Evernote, but it doesn't work that well for me. I often have to restart Evernote - which I sort of never did before (I am a Mac user), to get Evernote to recognize my linked Drive Docs. Still after reconnecting, neither their title nor the content is searchable in Evernote. I tried cmd+J and cmd+alt+F, but no luck. I won't spend any more time on this now. Copy the link as before works for me, so I'll just wait for coming upgrades to improve this functionality.
