  1. Following up on @DTLow's comment, you can directly access shortcuts using CMD-(number), e.g. CMD-1 will open the first shortcut, CMD-2 will open the second, etc. If you make your table-of-contents note your first one, you'll always be able to jump to that using CMD-1. Hope this helps! -- Tom
  2. Hi, I have Safari 12 with favicons enabled and I'm not seeing the old icon being displayed. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. Can you double-check that you're seeing the older icon, and if it's still there please post a URL or screenshot of the browser so we can go fix it? Thanks! -- Tom
  3. Hi Ricardo, Image on your public note should be working now; if you're still seeing it as broken please post here. Thanks! -- Tom
  4. For other search terms you could use "any:" to get an OR of two search criteria, but unfortunately, per the search grammar (https://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/search_grammar.php), you cannot use that for notebooks: This may not fit in with your current organizational scheme, but if you can put the two notebooks into one stack you can then search all notebooks in the stack with "stack:name-of-stack" which would do what you're looking for. Hope this helps! -- Tom
  5. When you turn off auto-renewal payment you should still get the full amount of Plus/Premium time that you have already paid for. The service downgrade will occur when your paid time expires and the payment is not auto-renewed.
  6. If you create a saved search in Evernote, you can access it in the web client ( https://www.evernote.com/Home.action ). The URL upon clicking the saved search represents the saved search, i.e. loading that URL again will re-execute the search and show the results in the web client. Hope this helps!
  7. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but check out the calendar note templates at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/214865798 -- if you import those into your account, you may be able to achieve what you're looking for. More on templates: https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2017/05/05/uncovering-templates-hidden-gem-evernote/
  8. You should be able to adjust your email opt-in/opt-out preferences by going to https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action and logging into your account. Hope this helps.
  9. Hi, If you haven't done so already, please contact support and provide your and your wife's email addresses so that we can look into it. Thanks! -- Tom
  10. Not a solution but perhaps a way to streamline what you're doing right now: if you double-click the "contents" note so it's in its own detached window, you can drag-and-drop a note from the note list into the "contents" note -- when you drop it, it'll create the note link. HTH, -- Tom
  11. If you check your Personal Settings in the Evernote web client you'll see an option for "Auto-filing" : "Automatically file and tag notes sent in via email." http://note.io/1c5Nvqa If you uncheck that, the emailed content with no @<notebook> annotation on the subject line should go into your default notebook. HTH, -- Tom
  12. This might shed some light on the matter: http://blog.evernote.com/tech/2013/08/08/m-evernote-com-update/
  13. There was a bug with embedded images in public URLs that should be fixed now. Can you check again and see if the problem still persists? And if it does, it'd be helpful if you could post a sample note URL. Thanks! -- Tom Evernote employee
  14. James, If you are consistently having trouble with a particular email and can reduce it to a simple and share-able test case I wouldn't mind taking a look and seeing if I can identify the source of the failures. Send me a message and we can figure out the best way to transfer your test case. Thanks, -- Tom
  15. If you're forwarding the emails as attachments, the mail gateway is possibly applying the same treatment to the attached emails (i.e. strip the headers) as it does to the overall message. If you can forward your emails as inline messages that might help. -- Tom
  16. Couple of ideas: a) @bananabwana: If you're on a Mac, you should have the option to "print" the Word document to PDF. That should hopefully retain the formatting of the figures and images, and you can then store the PDF in an Evernote note along with any annotations you want to add for that class/document. @danielsinger: If generating a PDF version is not an option, try saving(exporting) the Word document as HTML, open the HTML in a browser, then try copy/paste from the browser. I've found that HTML tends to copy/paste better into Evernote notes. Hope this helps! -- Tom
  17. You're using the correct syntax to append an email to an existing note. Is it possible you have a newer note with the word 'travel' in the title that is being appended to instead of the one you want?
  18. If I'm not mistaken the keyboard shortcut CMD-' (that's the CMD key and the apostrophe) should put the cursor in the tag area of the note, and then you can type the tags you want to add. Does that work?
  19. Assuming you can access the internet from other things on that computer (e.g. web browsing, email, etc.), is it possible that you have firewall software that is blocking Evernote from making its outbound connection?
  20. Just doing a quick test with blogtrottr.com, it looks like the verification email contains a link you need to click that will signal to the service that you have received the email. Since you're putting in your Evernote account, that link email should show up in your Evernote account as a note, and you can act on the link from there. -- Tom
  21. Open the link to the shared note containing the PDF in a browser. When you see the link to the PDF, right-click on it and "copy" that link -- that's the direct link to the PDF attachment which you should be able to share. -- Tom
  22. If you have translation improvement suggestions you can submit them at pootle.evernote.com . Thanks, -- Tom
  23. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like with my S1300 when I choose Evernote as the destination it just goes into whatever account happens to be open, so it technically should be possible. HTH, -- Tom
  24. Is the option not under the "Options" menu? e.g. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s1/sh/89111604-d5d3-4af5-9b50-c2ad884322a6/dc97c75df8690e59723db9fd82b2cfdf
