  1. I'm sorry but I do not see how your answer is relevant at all — could you explain how this 'Saved Searches' feature addresses any of the 4 points I just made? I am aware of the feature you mentioned, and what it does is search for a term with filter and sort parameters. However what I want is to be able to view any note in a notebook without limiting to a particular search, with a particular set sorting as default. This feature that I am requesting will not require users to have to do additional steps, it's something more in-built to the functionality of how viewing notebooks should be.
  2. (1) I have some notebooks where I want my notes sorted by Title, and some by Date Updated — it is very painful whenever I access one after / before the other that I have to manually sort again (2) This should work similar to the feature under 'Save current view options for this notebook' — I thought this would solve this problem but it only applies to the 'Note List View', could we please implement it such that it also respects the way notes are sorted, besides the 'Note List View'? (3) Additionally consider an option to for option to have default new notebooks to view as xyz (4) Additionally, separately, consider an option to default the notebook view back to the set default once you access another notebook and back to your previous view (sometimes you might want to sort your notebook temporarily differently even though the default is set to one).
  3. Hi, just want to update everybody that I recently updated Evernote and it appears that this issue has been solved (same window size on the same external monitor) because I also noticed some other visual improvements. Thanks to the Evernote Team.
  4. Haha, yea, again just trying to narrow down where to look into next — people were kind to help me recently when I had an issue, so paying it forward. I know how it feels to replicate troubleshooting steps, so for those you have tried, I won't suggest — hope to at least get a workaround or at least we know some root causes
  5. Can you try creating a new account and see whether it's something to do with your Evernote account or is it Evernote running on your phone that is the issue?
  6. Can you try login in via web with the same account, and then create a note — does it work? Can you try to create a Widget (one of them) and try create a note from there? If this does not works, can you try (again) clearing cache, then force stop, then uninstall. In this order. Then restart phone, reinstall, login, try to create note?
  7. Pixel 6 Pro running Evernote 10.62.2 — It's working for me. Sorry to hear that, I had another issue on desktop recently which was semi-resolved. You seem like you have tried most recommended solutions, can you try to double tap on a created note and see whether you can access edit mode? Can you also trying customising your dashboard with the scratch pad and see whether you can even type anything there, if it works, try converting it into a note? Trying to narrow down the issue.
  8. Okay, I've just figured out what is happening — not trying to discredit you as I was playing around right after the first person's reply (but still big thanks!). The good news is that it's easy to resolve, the bad news is that it's slightly annoying and seems like it's a bug — see video. I emptied Trash before the screen record. *If you don't want to watch the video, try collapsing / expanding different notebooks until it appears. Screen Recording 2023-12-21 at 2.51.59 AM.mov
  9. My attached screenshots show the end of the side bar and also search term Trash coming up no results. That's interesting, I would have thought both versions (Apple Store or direct download) would have the latest one. I updated to this version recently...so it could be that, though it's rare that I visit the Trash so I can't pinpoint when it happened. Thanks for the reply, I will wait for more solutions before doing this overhaul method. That said, it is unacceptable if one version causes the bug and I have to use the direct download — I think it is fair to expect the version downloaded from the Apple Store to work well.

  11. Evernote gets more disappointing with each year — I cannot find a support email so I'll have to post it here. I cannot find the Trash folder in my sidebar nor in the notebook search bar — where has it gone?! The only way I was able to find my deleted note is to delete a note and quickly click on the prompt dialogue that appears. Please help.
