I must confess that this instance was a case of PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair)- I’m sorry to have bothered you needlessly! Nevertheless I will post “the solution” here in case it helps someone else. “Solution” 👇: The keyboard scroll (“smooth / flowing” scroll) works only when the Note is “selected” but the “cursor” is NOT visible. ”Edit” button visible = Note is NOT selected (won’t scroll). Cursor visible = Note “selected” but “being actively edited” (scroll bar invisible) so will scroll only “line by line” (no “smooth” scroll). => Click once at the edge of the Note where the scroll bar would be. = Scroll bar appears, Cursor disappears, No “Edit” button seen. = Keyboard scroll (“smooth/flowing” scroll) will now work. See screenshots. Hope this helps someone.
  3. (Latest) EN 10.62.3 on iPadPro iPadOS 17.2. Unable to scroll (up/down) with Keyboard (external, Bluetooth pin-connector “Magic” keyboard). Keyboard scroll works fine with everything except EN. Any ideas/suggestions other than “uninstall/ reinstall/ restart”, please? Thanks in advance. Happy New Year, everyone! 🙂

  6. Thanks. Can’t use VPN from another country due to restrictions with work-related apps/data. If EN gives more Support “options” to Guest Users (who are not yet lured into paying) than it does to paying users, it would be funny if it weren’t so sad / tragic already. And now suddenly, as if by magic- EN is no longer crashing even with the Apple Keyboard attached… I swear I have not done anything except spend time moaning on this forum and generating a Support ticket… My only regret is that I also have taken up too much of your time on this, @PinkElephant… @Bret Hammond, has EN stopped crashing for you, too (with the Keyboard connected)? Thanks once again, @PinkElephant! And if anyone else manages to get the Support options that @PinkElephant gets, please let us know. Have a nice day, everyone!

I think that EN somehow shows you a different “Support” screen because those options are not there on my screen- please see my attached screen recording.   8. Dear @PinkElephant Thanks for your patience and for uploading the screenshot.. but exactly WHERE to tap to get the four options shown in your screenshot? Mere mortals like myself can see only the “selection field” = dropdown list (“What can we help you with”- on https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) that displays the three options shown in my screenshot? Thanks once again. 🙏

Hi @PinkElephant Thanks for replying… I just discovered the other thread and posted there as I thought it would be more pertinent… Came back here to delete my previous comment lest I be told off by @gazumped for double-posting! 😇 #1 Yes…. The issue is with the Apple keyboard connected- but EN can’t expect people to go buy a new keyboard every time they release an update which hapless souls then download in the false hope of getting their existing EN issues resolved - only to discover deadlier issues with the latest update… 😅 #2 No- scrolling up on the EN so-called support page does not give any more options…. Many thanks for your input… Now, @PinkElephant,- since you’ve already been kind enough to reply to my previous post in this thread, do I delete my previous post or not- what is the proper “netiquette” here, please? ( @gazumped please bear with me here…) Many thanks, once again… 🙏
  10. EN10.62.0 crashing on iPadOS17.2 EN crashes the instant I try to edit any Note. Tried everything mentioned in this post, including uninstall—>hard reset —> re-install. Have contacted the infamous so-called “EN Customer Support” (ECS) to generate a support ticket…. The worst part is that ECS doesn’t even have an option for the most common issue i.e. app usability… the only three options are: a/c billiing, a/c management and subscription/billing issues… makes me think the ONLY thing they care about is money. Oh, the joys of being an EN User… Couldn’t agree more with @Not happy either’s comment about having to “contact Spotify support everytime you want to play a song”… https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/148856-app-crashingagain/?do=findComment&comment=708027 Seriously need to find an alternative to EN… this is getting out of hand… P.S. @Bret Hammond, both your comments (#1 about app crashing with the external keyboard (Magic Keyboard) attached and #2 about the PATHETIC “support request portal “ are SPOT-ON! @PinkElephant, how lucky you are to NOT have any issues with this issue! 😇 And now I need to go back see if I can delete my comment in the previous post “App crashing angain” otherwise @gazumped will tell me off for double-posting! 😅

I had contacted EverNote Support after trawling throught the EN Discussions Forums- got a very unhelpful reply saying: Anyway, I have replied to their email, once again providing them the "details" of the issue- which were explicitly specified already. P.S. @gazumped, I take your point about multiple posting but I didn't "create" new posts- I just replied to the pre-existing threads since I didn't know which one would beget a reply if at all, given that (as I discovered) this "issue" (malfunction) has been around for >5 years.... and this was the first time I used this Forum... BUT I now know that souls like you and @PinkElephant are not only helpful but also amazingly prompt, so henceforth your advice about avoiding multiple posting is taken on board. Many thanks to you both once again, and I will post here if at all this issue gets resolved. Kind regards, Nikhil.

Have the same problem which is >5y old now and STILL UNRESOLVED in Dec 2023: Using an iPad Pro with the latest iPadOS 17.1.2 and latest EverNote 10.61.2 While editing a Note, if you move away (e.g. to copy from another application/tab) and come back (to paste the copied text in the EN Note), EN has already "closed" the Note such that you have to "Open" the Note again and navigate to wherever you were in the Note that you need to paste... Seriously, WHAT can we do to get the EverNote developers' attention to sort this out? Thanks in advance if anyone has figured out how to do this on iPad. 🙏
